About Sentari
What is Sentari ?
Sentari is India’s first barrel-aged Cashew Spirit, an award-winning, Premium Feni crafted in Goa from handpicked cashew apples, and matured in oak barrels for depth, smoothness, and balance.

Why the name “Sentari”?
Sentari is inspired by Sattari, a lush, forested region in North Goa where the cashew apple thrives in abundance. The name pays homage to the land that gives life to Feni, while its evolved form (Sentari) reflects our vision to take a deeply local spirit and reimagine it for the world.
What makes Sentari different from traditional Feni?
While traditional Feni is clear and unaged, Sentari is matured in oak barrels. This process adds layers of flavor, structure, and refinement, transforming it into a sipping spirit.

The Craft
What is Feni made from?
Feni is made from the juice of ripe cashew apples. Sentari only uses fruit that has naturally fallen to the ground: Nature’s sign of perfect ripeness
What does barrel-aging do to Feni?
Barrel-aging softens Feni’s edges, adds natural notes of oak, spice, and caramel, and gives the spirit its signature golden hue and round finish.
How long is Sentari aged?
There is no fixed duration. Each batch of Sentari is aged until it reaches flavour balance. Some barrels mature in months, others over a year. The spirit decides when it is ready!
Why is every batch unique?
Sentari is crafted in small batches using seasonal cashew fruit and aged naturally in oak barrels. Variations in harvests, fermentation, and maturation mean each batch develops its own subtle character, reflecting the authenticity of a truly handcrafted spirit.
Why is Sentari produced in limited quantities?
Sentari is made from a seasonal harvest of cashew fruit and aged patiently in oak barrels. Our focus on quality over volume naturally limits production, making every release rare and carefully crafted. Each batch is therefore a truly Limited Edition! Read more about why we chose to stay a small-batch brand.
What is the “angels' share”?
During aging, a small amount of spirit naturally evaporates: What distillers call the angels’ share. It is a loss in volume, but a gain in character. While whisky in colder climates like Scotland loses roughly 2% per year to the angel’s share, Goa’s tropical conditions push that number to 8–10%. This accelerated maturation creates extraordinary intensity, delivering a spirit in three years with the richness and complexity of a 12-year-old whisky.
What flavors can I expect from Sentari?
Expect warm notes of tropical fruit, oak, spice, and caramel: Smooth yet complex, distinctly Goan, yet globally refined.

Feni and the Industry
What is Feni’s status in India and globally?
Feni holds a Geographical Indication (GI) tag, meaning it can only be made in Goa. With Sentari’s double Gold and Silver win at the London Spirits Competition, it is now gaining global recognition.
